I have already told you what this is all about. But maybe I failed to mention in a more clear way how I intend to make this work.
This is easy. I will "pull the trigger" on each entry with something that motivates you to keep your hand moving. If you feel like responding to it, you just have to go for it. You may react in the "comments" section, or if you don't feel like reacting to that entry in particular, you may create your own, but always inviting the readers to react.
I hope this turns into something entertaining, interactive and above all, enriching to all of you :)
Welcome!

Introductory words
It's taken me around four or five years to realize that I have a writer within. I'm not saying I have the talent, I'm not saying I am gifted. That's not for me to judge, and truth be told, I don't care about it. I'm just saying that for many years there has been somebody inside me who has remained silent and now needs to break free. What this person wants is to put into words what she sees, tastes, smells, touches, steps on, everything she experiences and senses. No matter whether it is about trifles, nonsense issues, or big deals. All and everything that is important to this person is important to me because we are the same. And for the first time in my life, I will take the risk of opening myself to all of you. This will be my comfort zone where I'll feel protected through the power of the written word. I don't know if this is something you enjoy, if you have done this before, but before saying no, give yourselves a try. I know we all have something to say, even when we think it's something small or silly. Let me tell you that I intend to create a space here where we can all cocoon ourselves in our fantasy or real world, where there are no "buts"and no judgements. I intend to create a creative writing community in which we can all be actors and audience. Ideally, it would be great if all of us posted and commented on the different entries because I don't want to bore you all the time with my stories. We all need to play the part of the writer and the reader. I would like you all to make this corner yours, because it is! I know that we are all busy, but if you feel you like it, try it. You don't need previous experience. It is just your mind, what you want to say and the pc. It can be real or imaginary. It can be about anything. You just have to lose control. Don't worry if it is correct, polite, appropriate. Say what you want to say. Just let it rip. Free the writer within.

What I have done already...
This is something I wrote while in the US
"I have already flown to San Francisco and to Chicago. I have already experienced the community life. I have already had lunch at 11:30 a.m and dinner at 6:pm. I have already seen the Washington Memorial, the Capitol and the White House. I have already partied at 7:30 pm and gone to bed at 12:00 am on a Saturday night. I have already felt homesick and been scared of losing my parents for the first time. I have already eaten eggs and sausages for breakfast and s'more around a fire. I have already eaten a peanut butter sandwich and I liked it. I've already been an international student passing along my culture. I've already known people from almost all over the world in just one single weekend. I've already learned to say in-fucking-credible, I'm freaked out and that sucks!
I've already learned to buy a beer with my ID and to shake hands instead of kissing. I've already gone to a Mardi Gras parade and have seen the Super Bowl on TV. I have already seen snow on Christmas for the first time and have given thanks eating turkey, pumpkin and cranberry pies. I have ordered books on Amazon and have opened a Facebook account. I've already read at Sturbucks a countless number of times. I have already taken off and landed a lot more times than I had imagined. I have already been a passenger in transit at airports observing people coming and going following their destinations. I have already been lazy and have decided to eat a Pizza Hut. I have already tried Chinese food, Ethiopian and also Thai, and I pretty much liked it. I have already gone to the movies, have eaten lots of pop corn and have had a diet coke. I have already tasted, seen, smelled, touched and heard the American culture. And yet, I'm hungry for more. It won't be easy to pack this lifetime experience. I guess I'll exceed weight when checking in my luggage."
What about you? Where have you travelled? Is it around Argentina, or just here in Mendoza? Perhaps you've been to another continent? Or maybe you just had a wonderful experience on your way to work or to a friend's place? Was it while you were at the grocer's? What was your experience like? Tell us the details about it. Remember, nobody is here to judge you. Keep your hand moving and let it out. ;o)
